Jessica is the owner of Serenova Crafts. She has been interested in crafting – both fiber related and not – since she was young. She has now brought her passion and focus on fiber crafting into it’s own by starting her own business.
“Jack of all trades”
“A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.” is the original saying behind our modern moniker “Jack of All Trades”.
This definitely applies to Jessica! Over the years she has learned how to knit, crochet, spin yarn, weave (rigid heddle and inkle), sew, quilt, embroider, cross stich, dye, and design patterns. She’s also trying to figure out how to do both Nålebinding and tatting left-handed (a work in progress). Non-fiber skills she’s developed are product photography, photo editing, digital and traditional art, graphic design, webpage design, creative writing, editing, and more!
Every illustration you will see on this site, from the shop logo, to the cat drawings are all original designs made by Jessica.
