Description
This hat is aiming to be a fun project that allows you to use up scraps and/or mini skeins. However it is also knit-able with a single skein of fingering weight yarn.
It’s designed to take 5 different colors of 5-15g each. You can use more, or less yarn depending on what colors you have available, and how slouchy a hat you wish to make.
The design itself was born from the desire to do something with a touch of detail that made it slightly more interesting to knit than basic stockinette.
A garter panel slowly winds it’s way up this hat. Slowly “drifting” to one side as you go.
Requirements:
- 80g of fingering weight yarn, or 1 standard fingering weight skein
- know how to knit, purl, k2tog, M1R, and slip stitches
- know how to knit in the round
Pattern sizes: S, M, L
Weight: Fingering
Yardage: 250-375
